The Rams shored up the middle with Poona Ford, and it’s unlikely they will take a linebacker at #26. The next most significant needs are a cornerback, another wide receiver to be in-house after all these one and two-year contracts expire, and a quarterback we can mold for the post-Stafford era.<\/p>\n Note: The need to draft O-line is always there, but you’ll get similarly graded players at #26, and they’ll be there at #90.<\/p>\n Four players that may be available on draft night:<\/p>\n RamView Live Today at 5PM On YouTube<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n 1.)\u2014WR Matthew Golden (Texas)<\/strong>: was the fastest receiver at the combine at a blistering 4.29 and could stretch defenses well past the current Super Bowl window.<\/p>\n 2.)\u2014WR Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State)<\/strong>: Egbuka is a fantastic talent and a perfect fit alongside Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. Like Golden, he is a generational talent.<\/p>\n 3.)\u2014QB Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss)<\/strong>: If the Big Ram Fan in The Sky decides to shine grace upon the organization and Dart is available at #26, he is a must-grab. Stetson Bennett is no longer in the discussion. It’s time to move on and start a new QB project. This remains a long shot due to the fact that Dart is climbing into the top ten of many mock drafts.<\/p>\n 4.)\u2014DB Jahdae Barron (Texas)<\/strong>: This guy has speed, size, and a ball hawk. He could anchor the secondary for many years.<\/p>\n While I tend to agree that the Rams should trade back and add a second\/third-round pick, if they stay put, they could find something special in Golden.
