(Arcadia) – Arcadia allowed four runs in the first inning and could never recover in a 4-1 loss to Orange Lutheran Tuesday night at Giambrone Field.<\/p>\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n

The loss was the first of the year for the Apaches after 13 straight victories to start the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colt Peterson went the distance for Orange Lutheran allowing just four hits and striking out nine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only hint of trouble for Peterson came in the fifth inning. Tyler Brereton doubled down the left field line and scored on a single by Matt Manzo. Peterson then retired the next three hitters to get out of the inning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He then retired the side in order in sixth and seventh innings to finish it off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peterson started with a four-run cushion after Orange Lutheran got four in the top of the first. Brady Murrietta singled and Josiah Hartshorn reached on an error. Hamilton Friedberg singled home a run and Noah Haros hit a ball to left field that was misplayed and two more runs scored. Wyatt Hanoian then doubled home Haros and two outs into the game it was already 4-0 O Lu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lancers and Peterson made the runs stand up the rest of the way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Damian Catano also pitched a complete game for Arcadia. He settled down after the first inning. He allowed just five hits overall and retired the side in order in each of the last three innings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Apaches will get another crack at Orange Lutheran when they make the trip down to Orange County on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arcadia is now 13-1 on the season while Orange Lutheran improved to 9-1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
