Opening Day is finally upon us! As the Dodgers take the field for their first series back in the States, they approach perhaps the most anticipated Dodger season in many fan\u2019s lifetimes. With this great anticipation, The Deferred BenchWarmers are offering our Bold Predictions for the 2025 season.<\/span><\/p>\n Now, we are trying to make these BOLD predictions: predicting an NL West Crown, Ohtani repeat MVP, or even a World Series aren\u2019t too far out there, so we\u2019re looking beyond that.<\/p>\n Major Baseball Awards:<\/strong> Rob Diaz:<\/strong> Gold Glove : Andy Pages<\/p>\n Riley Saxon:<\/strong> Comeback Player of the Year: Clayton Kershaw<\/p>\n Team Cy Young:<\/strong> Rob:<\/strong> Yoshinobu Yamamoto<\/p>\n Riley:<\/strong> Tyler Glasnow<\/p>\n New Fan Favorite:<\/strong> Rob:<\/strong> Blake Snell – Not sure if he still does his video game streams, but the ones I\u2019ve seen have been entertaining. Could give Kike a run for his money.<\/p>\n Riley:<\/strong> I really think Conforto is going to go the Te\u00f3 route of last year: a bit of an under-the-radar signing, but comes on strong and embraces the Dodgers\u2026 and become a guy that fans clamor to re-sign in the offseason.<\/p>\n HR Celebration<\/strong> (does seed throwing stay or go?): Rob:<\/strong> Hopefully stays!
