Running back Da\u2019Ron Walker broke free for a 33-yard trip to paydirt, giving Norwalk a 10\u20130 advantage heading into halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Norwalk wasted no time adding to its lead after the break. Walker punched in his second touchdown of the night on a one-yard dive, pushing the score to 17\u20130. Moments later, defensive lineman Marcus Castillo recovered a fumble to give the Lancers the ball right back.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lynwood\u2019s special teams came up with a big play, blocking a Norwalk field goal attempt to keep the score within reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Knights found life midway through the fourth quarter when running back Darryon Wilson led a strong drive, capping it with a 28-yard touchdown run. A missed two-point conversion left the score at 17\u20136.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Norwalk responded with a clock-chewing drive that ended in a quarterback sneak by Axel Bustamante. The successful two-point conversion made it 25\u20136, sealing the win.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lynwood\u2019s final possession ended in a turnover on downs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walker led the Lancers\u2019 offense with 156 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while Cerritos added 118 yards on the ground. On defense, Andres Escobar recorded an interception, and Castillo was a force at defensive end, recovering a fumble and making plays all night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lynwood freshman quarterback Tytus Eng impressed with over 120 passing yards, while Wilson and Tristan Ormond combined for more than 100 rushing yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Norwalk improved to 6\u20130 and will host Compton Early College next week.
