Schmidt went 10-0 with an ERA of .087 last season as he helped lead Ganesha to the 2026 CIF Division 2 championship where they beat Loyola 6-3. He allowed just 15 hits all year. The Giants finished 26-3-1 on the season overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schmidt, an LSU recruit, is one of the youngest players in the entire draft class at 17 years old.
