It’s hard to get a good read on teams in shirts and shorts in the summer. We’ll know more when the helmets and pads come on, of course, but with the season just two weeks away here’s our preseason Top 12. Yes, we go with 12. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

1. Damien – Malachi McFarland is back to lead the running attack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    2. Bishop Amat – Quarterback Dylan D’Epifanio (cool name) can air it out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Downey – Receiver Damani Porras is always open. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Bonita – Running back Joseph Lara is gearing up for a big year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Charter Oak – Quarterback Dutch Burbidge leads a potent offense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Muir – How good is transfer quarterback Kaiden Agbunag? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. La Serna – Lancers have been impressive on the passing circuit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8. Baldwin Park – Lequand “Jack Jack” Jackson ready to sling it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    9. Rio Hondo Prep – The Kares don’t rebuild, they reload. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    10. St. Paul – First year head coach Austin Montoya has talent to work with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    11. Northview – Vikings have a big front line to pave the road. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    12. Los Altos – Quarterback Luke Rodriguez looks legit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
