Iger has Snow White and Live-Action Moana.

Walter being the subject of an ongoing federal investigation forces me to ask Dodger fans if this makes them a little bit nervous.

(And the Mets fan has found a silver lining.)

I heard about the sale this morning, so I turned the news on and watched Colin Cowherd go full worm-mode and deflect from the sale, the pending investigation, and what it might mean for the Dodgers and into a rant about Luca Doncic.

Doncic’s not the story; the Lakers, the Dodgers, and the sale are the story…not Doncic nor the departure of LeBron James. Nor is the keister-smooching of LeBron’s legacy in LA.

Cowherd, the most talented sports guy on air (it doesn’t mean you have to like him), seems to be a bit chummy with the big names and is deflecting any chaos away from them.

Call it my suspicious side…but I didn’t fall off the Dodger bandwagon yesterday.

I saw Hard Knocks, and it was a good episode…and I was thrilled to see the Seahawks desperation at cornerback on display in working out former Detroit Lion/In trouble with the law cornerback Terrion Arnold.

Marvelous!

The Rams and Cowboys scrimmaged yesterday. First report was Dallas dominated. Later reports dialed that back. Saw some good highlights. And Puca Nacua’s tender groin doesn’t seem to be much of an issue.

Best insight of the scrimmage came from Sean McVay’s presser—he was upbeat. And that tells us it was a good day for the Rams.

Adam Schefter’s report that the NFL is still looking at disciplinary action against Nacua and Alaric Jackson highlights a terrific weakness not only in the NFL but across all major sports.

No criminal charges have been filed against Nacua or Jackson…but Roger Goodell has to show he’s concerned. Granted, the NFL can do what it wants, but let’s not kid ourselves that this is anything more than virtue signaling.

Former Dodger starter Trevor Bauer was never charged, but was banished by the MLB in the name of concern.

This doesn’t mean any of these guys are good guys; I just can’t stand the fake window dressing these leagues do.

Speaking of the Dodgers, last night they blew a 3-1 lead in the eighth, but came back to win it, 5-4, on a Max Muncy base hit in the tenth.

But should it really count since the comeback came against the Kansas City Royals? (KC has a worse record than the Mets.)

#91—May the San Francisco Giants rot and lie stinking in the earth.

Last Add Royals: With 319 home runs and 1,067 RBIs, I think Salvador Perez passed John Wathan as the greatest catcher in franchise history.

And, by the way, the Tampa Bay Rays won their eighth straight last night.

Last Add Rams: Terrance Ferguson is going to break out this season.

Finally, happy 83rd to Doug Krikorian…we turn our lonely eyes to you…

Thinking of Krikorian, if you had three wishes, one of them would be well spent on the resurrection of the Herald Examiner’s sports section…

The Dude abides…

1,338
Galatians 6:7
jtbank1964@yahoo.com
“RamView” M-W-F
Follow Joe on X: @joet13b

By Joe Torosian Kick it!
