Once I had a job where I was the third person in the pecking order.<\/p>\n
The boss would yell at me because it was easier to yell at me than it was to yell at the dude who was #2 in the pecking order.<\/p>\n
I knew as I was getting yelled at, it was really for dude #2, but I had to take it.<\/p>\n
This is what the SMU-ing of the Los Angeles Clippers feels like to me as someone from the outside looking in.<\/p>\n
The NBA and Adam Silver couldn’t yell at the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, or the Los Angeles Lakers\u2026so they yelled at the Clippers.<\/p>\n
I’m not saying the Clippers aren’t guilty\u2014I don’t know. If they fight tooth & nail, I’m going to root for them\u2026But I think the Clippers were easier to yell at than the blue bloods in the Association.<\/p>\n
