Both fighters started out slow, with no real action in the first round until\u00a0the last minute. Evans blocks a body kick by Machida, but gets dropped by a left to the chin. Evans recovers fast and throws right hooks.<\/div>\n

The second round starts off in the clinch and\u00a0Machida almost takes down Evans with a trip. Machida gets out the clinch and gets away from a combo from Evans. Both fighters exchange punches and connect. Machida rocks Evans again with a striaght left hand that drops him, and Machida tries to capitalize. Evans gets back up to his feet, but Machida rushes him with punches a left hook lands and Evans is out cold, and\u00a0Machida wins the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.<\/div>\n

Matt Hughes (43-7) def. Matt Serra (9-6) – Uniamous decision<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
The fight starts off with Serra coming out throwing punches. Serra and Hughes collide heads and Hughes get the worse of it getting rocked by the head butt. Serra follows up with solid punches that keep Hughes off balance. Hughes catches his balance and gets the takedown on Serra, and ends up on his back before the round is over.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
At the start of the end round Serra lands a punch and is taken down. Hughes is all over Serra on the gound, but lands little if any damage. The referee stands up both fighters with only 10 seconds left in the round, Hughes goes for the takedown but Serra spawls and the round is over.<\/div>\n

Hughes comes out throwing punches in the third and final round, and follows up with a takedown. Serra tries a couple submissions from the bottom, but Hughes stays close and is safe. Hughes gets side control but with little action the ref stands them up. Serra goes for the takedown this time and slams Hughes to the canvas. Serra lands a couple of solid shots. Hughes gets back up to his feet. Serra and Hughes clinch again and Serra goes for a kimura on the left arm, but the fight is over.<\/div>\n

Drew McFedries (8-5) def.\u00a0Xavier “Professor X” Foupa-Pokam <\/strong>(20-11) –\u00a0KO 1st rd. @ 0:37<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
A right hook\u00a0from McFedries\u00a0knocks Foupa-Pokam to the mat. McFedries\u00a0rushes and\u00a0is all over his Foupa-Pokam . McFedries\u00a0lands hard punches\u00a0with both hands. Foupa-Pokam stands and is dropped again with a right uppercut. The fight is stopped just 37 seconds into it<\/span><\/div>\n
