All Mid-Valley Division Center Albert Perez, Schurr<\/p><\/div>\n

The fight over the Mid-Valley Division team went till 11:30 P.M. and nearly deadlocked at running back, wide receiver, defensive back and offensive line. We are sorry about the names you won’t see, but proud of the ones we did settle on.<\/p>\n

Once again, all of these players were seen in action by our staff. Also, again, there were times we went with what we saw instead of what was in the stat book. We welcome your arguments, disagreements, and most importantly your thoughts.<\/p>\n

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: <\/span><\/strong>Matt Fregoso, Rosemead: Gunned, glided, and gashed his way to over 2,ooo yards for a team that was very one dimensional.<\/p>\n

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:<\/span><\/strong> Nick Bueno, Monrovia: Three trips to the semifinals, two trips to the finals, the first football title in history for a school that opened its doors before 1900. Without him there is no parade at Library Park.<\/p>\n

COACH OF THE YEAR:<\/span><\/strong> Ryan Maddox, Monrovia: Captained the M-Town ship, with a high voltage crew, through the storms and eventually a crown. His best moment may have been the stretch of time between a devastating loss to San Dimas on a Friday night to a come back victory at South Hills the next Thursday.<\/p>\n
