Rosemead gained the early advantage on two Jose Esparza field goals in the first half but Montebello scored right before the break to go up 7-6 when Marcus Portillo raced into the endzone on an 11 yard dash to the corner.<\/p>\n
In the second half Justin Marino stepped in front of an Adan Guillen pass to not only thwart a Panther drive but he also returned it 85 yards for a touchdown for a 13-6 Oiler lead. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
After another Esparza field goal, Saenz found George Romo for an 11 yard TD strike for the final points of the night.<\/p>\n
