The junior quarterback completed 11 of 18 passes for 205 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-10 rout of Arroyo.

Desmond Reed caught two for scores in the first half; one for 83-yards, the other for 32.

Herman Wagner ran the ball 20 times for 174-yards, including 75-yard sprint to paydirt and a 15-yard pass from Malczynski. Jimmy Brettl caught Malczynki’s final score in the fourth quarter.

The lone bright spot for the Knights was a 49-yard hook up between quarterback Steve Payne and running back Anthony Olivas.

TC’s Mike Mooney, on a night he got four touchdown passes from his quarterback, two scores from Reed, and the first win over Arroyo since 1996, gave the praise to his offensive line.

Good for the Titans and Steelers for honoring the passengers of Flight 93 tomorrow night, September 10th, in the NFL season opener. Friday will mark the eighth anniversary of the “911” attack.

I think its safe to say that most people overlook the talent of Arroyo playmaker Chris Rodriguez, but another name to keep an eye out for is Jeff Salazar.

Is it fair to say this soon that Los Altos’ home game Friday against Northview is critical? Based on 2008 and how things finished against San Dimas last week, I’d say yes.

Remember when Kishon Sanders (Tip’s grandson) was managing things as a skinny freshman quarterback for Blair in 2007? His line according to MaxPreps two years later for LaSalle looks like this: 6’3” 235-pounds.

Two guys Rowland better keep an eye on Friday when they play Cal are Terris Jones and Travis Alexander…both are game breakers. I had promised a friend I would get a Int (interception) and that play was so close.

Some of my favorite plays were Kenny Werner’s touchdown catch and run, Gianni’s (Bruno-Lopez) first touchdown, Joey Stewart’s touchdown catch and dive into the end zone, and Christian Cano’s Int. I mean it was a game full of good plays.
