(La Mirada)- \u201cOur goal is to win a CIF championship every year,\u201d says La Mirada HC Mike Moschetti.<\/p>\n

Heading into his fourth season leading the Matadores, Moschetti has heard the complaints and taken the heat but will let his team do the talking through a brutal non-league schedule and a ever improving Suburban League.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know you guys to don\u2019t like to hear this, but all I\u2019m worried is about is tomorrow. We\u2019re just trying to get better every day. We\u2019re focused on now, not down the line.\u201d<\/p>\n

La Mirada HC Mike Moschetti grew up across the street from LM and played his college ball at Colorado before returning home.<\/p><\/div>\n

La Mirada has two quarterbacks in Kevin Dillman and Gerry Myers, a pair of backs in Johnny Hills and Adam Carrasco, plus throw in a plus sized offensive line, and All-CIF receiver Dallas Ship and you get why they\u2019re thinking title.<\/p>\n

This is without mentioning a defensive unit boiling with bad dudes featuring Koa Kaleopaa and Tyler Luatua.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve had a great off season we\u2019ve worked hard all summer,\u201d says Moschetti. \u201cEver since our last game against West Covina, getting beat by 29 points, its been our focus to get bigger and to get mentally tougher.\u201d<\/p>\n
