Don Lugo beat Maranatha by three touchdowns. The Aztecs will be in the game again in the fourth but this time they fall. But the Tornadoes are 2-0 and the Rams are 0-3 so&#8230;The good news is Temple City will score this week. Now I like Rowland. The concerning thing about the Knights is the defense. They gave up huge chunks of yardage last week to La Puente. The Matadors have allowed 105 points in two games. The Braves aren&#8217;t bringing back memories of the &#8217;85 Bears either. There should be a lot of points but SG is more explosive than BP. They are coming off an emotional win over Covina but they can&#8217;t let up here. Gladstone has been impressive in wins over Northview and Baldwin Park.<\/p>\n<p>In the end though the Gladiators won&#8217;t be able to catch El Monte. But it might have been a\u00a0 fluke. The Tigers came out a little over confident and Hoover came to play ball. The Tigers should rebound to beat Glendale.<\/p>\n<p>South Pasadena 27 Glendale 17<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>La Canada (1-1) at Crescenta Valley (1-1) \u2013 Glendale\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Last Year: Crescenta Valley 35-14 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This one could be a toss up. CV got caught last week by San Marino while LC was falling to Glendale. Whoever makes the least mistakes usually wins. The Falcons should be that team here. CV survives fourth.<\/p>\n<p>Crescenta Valley 17 La Canada 14<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>St. Francis 2-0) at La Mirada (2-1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mike Moschetti called Jim Harbaugh this week. He&#8217;s trying to get the 49ers on the schedule for next year. The Golden Knights are the next power to step on the field against La Mirada. The Matadores have been up to every challenge so far. Is that a typo? No it&#8217;s correct and the Minutemen are suddenly staring at their fourth straight loss. Maranatha has Andrew Elffers and we all know what he can do. But he needs more protection and he could use a few more weapons. The Lancers have a few explosives in their arsenal in Isreal Lacy, Amir Evans and Austin Wallis. They racked up 52 last week on Bell Gardens. The Oilers defense has been stout but this might be too big of a mountain to climb. The Panthers fell a punch short. They&#8217;ll land a few more against Warren. So who wins? Monrovia of course. The Saints gave up a ton of points to Bonita and The Wildcats aren&#8217;t the Bearcats. They just have too much. This is the kind of game they&#8217;ll be up for. M-Town makes a statement. Take it to the bank?
