Stanford wins its first Rose Bowl since 1972 with a 20-14 victory over Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>6. Rowland senior guard Chris Arzadon.<\/p>\n<p>7. The Charlotte Bobcats snap an 18 game losing streak with a win over Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>8. Northwestern wins its first Bowl game since 1949 with a 34-20 victory over Mississippi State in the Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl.<\/p>\n<p>9. On this date in 1984 Rick Neuheisel threw for 298 yards and four touchdowns to lead UCLA to a 45-9 win over Illinois in the Rose Bowl. Two of those touchdowns were to Karl Dorrell, who preceded Neuheisel as HC at UCLA. The game was played on January 2 because New Year&#8217;s Day fell on a Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>10.
