Last year Temple City finished 3-7.<\/p>\n<p>Before coming to Temple City,\u00a0McFarland spent a\u00a0year at Pasadena and guided the\u00a0Bulldogs to a 5-5 record. MacFarland has also\u00a0had experience coaching at the college level.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I wasn&#8217;t looking to leave. The opportunity just presented itself. I was actually offerred a job there last year but decided not to take it.\u00a0The opportunity was still there so\u00a0now is a good time,&#8221; MacFarland said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a great place, a really good family atmosphere.\u00a0If I would have waited\u00a0it might not have been there.
