Maranatha’s hiring of Steve Bogan is like the joy friends and family have when the guy and gal, who are perfect for each other, finally tie the not.<\/p>\n

Maranatha High School is pleased to welcome Steve Bogan as their new Head Football Coach.\u00a0 With over 30 years of coaching experience, Coach Bogan brings to Maranatha significant experience in building a quality football program and developing student-athletes.\u00a0 He served as the head coach of South Hills High School for 20 years.\u00a0 During that tenure he led his teams to 10 League Championships, reaching the CIF Quarterfinals 11 years in a row, and made 8 Semi-Final appearances.\u00a0 His teams have reached the CIF Finals 5 times, winning 4 CIF Championships in three different divisions.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cMaranatha is a destination job for me.\u00a0 When I believe that The Lord is opening a door, and the time is right, I enter where I\u2019m called.\u00a0 I feel that the environment on campus, the commitment to excellence, and Maranatha\u2019s focus on Christ aligns with how and where I want to end my career,\u201d says Bogan.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maranatha\u2019s Athletic Director Brian DeHaan shared, \u201cSteve and I have known each other for a number of years and there was a peace about this process.\u00a0 To bring Coach Bogan into Maranatha during the same year we hired Coach Tucker truly testifies to the excellence we pursue, and those that want to be a part of it.\u00a0 Maranatha is a special place and it\u2019s been a blessing to bring the finest coaches in Southern California to join in our mission of impacting lives for Christ.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
