Nico Hiller\u00a0has the size\u00a0that Arcadia fans used to see in their\u00a0quarterbacks and\u00a0he’s starting to find his targets as well.\u00a0“He’s looking real good,” said Arcadia OC Eric Elias. “He’s been getting better all summer.” Also look out for senior Josh\u00a0Benson who is in his third year\u00a0on the varsity. He owns middle linebacker.<\/p>\n

Bassett returns running\u00a0back Ricky Mejia,\u00a0who missed last year with a knee injury.\u00a0Jesus Navarrette\u00a0is\u00a0a beast (yeah I used that word) at running back. The quarterback is sophomore Marcus Ruiz. “He just\u00a0wants to get better,” said Bassett OC Jerry Urias said of Ruiz. “He’s a hard worker on the field and in the class room.”<\/p>\n

Schurr is looking at three quarterbacks but the Spartan\u00a0braintrust really likes freshman Adam Polanco.<\/p>\n

Chaz Miller was lighting it up for Arroyo. By the time opening night rolls around Miller may\u00a0have thrown\u00a0more passes this summer than anybody in the valley.<\/p>\n
