If the Northwest was a market and you were looking for a place to invest this week (either capital or emotional good will) you might want stock up on Heritage&#8230;Not predicting an upset, but if one is going to happen, it will happen here. A Poly victory over RHP would not be an upset, and the other way around would be exactly what folks are expecting.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>1.) Maranatha Minutemen, 8-0 (Olympic League): Beware of the Heritage Christian running game.<\/p>\n<p>2.) Nipomo Titans, 5-3 (Northern League): Have played too strong of a schedule to be any lower on this list. This is a final four team.<\/p>\n<p>3.) Arrowhead Christian Eagles, 7-0 (Ambassador League): Play an Ontario Christian team that destroyed NDR&#8230;No problem for AC as long as they stay focused.<\/p>\n<p>4.) Pasadena Poly, 7-0 (Prep League): The undefeated start gets tested at Rio Hondo Prep this Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>5.) Cantwell Cardinals, 6-1 (South Catholic League): Finally starting league play, they\u2019ll roll St. Bernard\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>6.) Big Bear Bears, 6-1 (De Anza League): It became redundant a month ago, but this is a team dependent on Logan Wolf.<\/p>\n<p>7.) Templeton Eagles, 6-2 (Northern League): Six weeks of solid football right down the drain..Never should have lost to Morro Bay.<\/p>\n<p>8.) Heritage Christian Warriors, 5-2 (Olympic League): Michael Nimura and Jake Rodriguez power a rushing attack that could be a nightmare for someone in mid-November.<\/p>\n<p>9.) Shadow Hills Knights, 5-2 (De Anza League): Winners of four in a row and favored to beat Big Bear this week&#8230;Maybe.<\/p>\n<p>10.) Rio Hondo Prep Kares, 3-4 (Prep League): A win Friday night against Poly will drive the entire Prep League to drink&#8230;Every time people think the Kares are out&#8230;they keep pulling themselves back in.<\/p>\n<p>Others (in no order): Twentynine Palms (4-3), St. Bernard (4-3), Flintridge Prep (5-3), Notre Dame-Riverside (4-3), Linfield Christian (5-2), Verbum Dei (3-4), Mission Prep (3-4), Valley Christian (5-3), Village Christian (4-3).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Joe Torosian What happened?
