The Bulldogs had four cracks at the end zone\u00a0from the three yard line and couldn&#8217;t score. From there the Panthers marched all the way down the field, aided by two pass interference penalties, before being halted at the six.<\/p>\n<p>West Covina led 14-3 at the half but the Panthers came out\u00a0and rallied in the third quarter scoring twice to take a 17-14 lead.\u00a0The second touchdown was set up by a West Covina turnover that set up the Panthers in Bulldogs territory.<\/p>\n<p>***Tyler Terriquez capped West Covina&#8217;s first drive with a\u00a013-yard touchdown run for a 7-0 lead.<\/p>\n<p>***West Covina had five different players carry\u00a0the ball\u00a0and racked up 257 yards on the ground overall.<\/p>\n<p>***Terriquez led the way with 16 carries for 158 yards and a touchdown and also intercepted a pass.<\/p>\n<p>***The Bulldogs attempted only seven passes. Aaron McCorkle was\u00a0two for six\u00a033 yards.<\/p>\n<p>***Mike Encisco\u00a0scored from a yard out with 2:50 left in the first half to give West Covina a 14-3 advantage.\u00a0Encisco had 12 carries for 44 yards and two scores.<\/p>\n<p>***James hit Max Brown\u00a0on a three-yard TD early in the third to cut the lead to 14-10.<\/p>\n<p>***After a West Covina fumble, the Panthers cashed in when James found Jon Perkins in the corner of the endzone for a 21 -yard touchdown strike.<\/p>\n<p>***West Covina put together a 77-yard drive just before the end of the third with Enciso finishing it with a one-yard plunge.<\/p>\n<p>***Neither team scored in the fourth quarter but both were stopped in the red zone.<\/p>\n<p>***James\u00a0 threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns but also tossed two picks. He ran for 67 yards.<\/p>\n<p>***Davion Gaisie gained 74 yards on\u00a0seven carries for Diamond Ranch.<\/p>\n<p>***With the victory West Covina finishes 4-1 in the Hacienda League and 7-3 overall.\u00a0The Bulldogs finished tied with Charter Oak\u00a0for the league title but\u00a0the Chargers beat the Bulldogs head to head.\u00a0Diamond Ranch ends up\u00a02-3 and 6-4 overall.
