Clark&#8217;s run was Paraclete&#8217;s first lead of the game\u00a0but it proved to be enough when the Spirits stopped Northview on the final drive. It was a defensive struggle all night\u00a0as the Vikings came up with several big stops of their own. But it was Paraclete who\u00a0delivered in the end.<\/p>\n<p>***Clark&#8217;s run capped a 62-yard, seven-play drive\u00a0that included a fourth down and seven conversion.<\/p>\n<p>***Down 12-7 late in the second quarter, the Spirits had a first and goal at the one yard line. But fumbled on\u00a0a pitch play and Northview recovered.<\/p>\n<p>***On the first drive of the third quarter Paraclete ate nearly eight minutes off the clock\u00a0driving down to the Viking four yard line but a 21-yard field goal attempt was blocked Northview.<\/p>\n<p>***Northview scored first on a\u00a0two yard run by Elijah Grijalva\u00a0on the Vikings&#8217; opening possession.<\/p>\n<p>***Paraclete tied it at seven on an 83-yard strike from\u00a0David Schmucker to Treyvon Green with 13 seconds\u00a0left in the first quarter.<\/p>\n<p>***Northview went up by five in the second on a safety when Schmucker was sacked in the end zone and a 42-yard field goal Enrique Jacobo.<\/p>\n<p>***The Spirits\u00a0went up 15-12 on a pass from Schmucker to Blake Jordan.<\/p>\n<p>***Northview had 170 yards rushing\u00a0including 110 by Alex Camacho.<\/p>\n<p>***Paraclete had 113 yards rushing total. Melquise Stovall was held to just 40 yards rushing.
