(El Monte) –\u00a0“It’s\u00a0never too early for football”,\u00a0said Arroyo OC Chris MacMillan Saturday\u00a0as he ran his team through some offensive sets.<\/p>\n

The Knights are out.\u00a0In fact\u00a0they’ve been put\u00a0for several weeks.\u00a0“We’ve been out on the field\u00a0every Saturday since about mid February,” said Arroyo head coach Jim Singiser.<\/p>\n

While the MacMillan’s offense ran\u00a0various plays against Singiser’s defense, the linemen\u00a0were at the other end of the field\u00a0slamming into\u00a0each other. No names to be thrown out\u00a0yet as to who is going to have a big year\u00a0and\u00a0no predictions\u00a0as to where the Knights might finish.\u00a0But rather just a note to let\u00a0you know that\u00a0it\u00a0is indeed\u00a0spring and that means that the\u00a0footballs are already being thrown around.<\/p>\n
