The senior quarterback accounted for four touchdowns, three through the air and one on the ground.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In the first half the game was like a tennis match. Glendora would bang a touchdown over the net and the Conquerors would bang back a return. The Tartans took a 14-0 lead only to see Los Altos tie it. The Tartans took a 21-14 lead, LA tied it. The home team took a 28-21 lead, and Conquerers tied it just before half time.<\/p>\n<p>Glendora jumped to the lead when Fink led them on a 6-play, 52 yard drive he capped with a 6-yard run. On the kick-off Tartans kicker Caleb Watkins scruffed it onside and the Los Altos players stared at it long enough for Glendora to recover at the Conquerers 48.<br \/>\nFive plays later Griffen Herrera cashed it in on a 2-yard run.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Nevens prevented the route when he bounced off nearly every Glendora defensive player on a third &amp; two before going 72-yards to paydirt. Los Altos tied the score on its next position when Michael Campbell threaded a 7-yard pass to Arturo Vargas in the corner of the end zone.<\/p>\n<p>The teams traded scores for the remainder of the first half, with the Conquerors getting an 18-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Andrew Guaydacan on a backwards pass thrown by Fink that hit the ground.<\/p>\n<p>In the final half the Tartans offense and defense combined to limit Los Altos to just three possessions. Highlighting the defense unit was free safety Tyler Schoenick with two interceptions and a pair of sacks by linebacker Timmy Hendricks.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>Glendora quarterback Matt Fink\u2019s stats: 21 of 32 for 288 yards, 3Tds<\/p>\n<p>Los Altos quarterback Michael Campbell\u2019s stats: 13 of 21 for 178 yards, 2Tds, 2 Ints.<\/p>\n<p>Tartans leading rusher was Fink with 115 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown<\/p>\n<p>Conquerors leading rusher was Tyler Nevens with a 107 yards on 15 carries, including a 72-yard touchdown run.<\/p>\n<p>Glendora\u2019s starting offensive line: LT: JR Ross, LG: Jeremy Kass, C: Austin Morris, RG: David Label, RT: Jackson McCain.<\/p>\n<p>Los Altos\u2019 starting offensive line: LT: Geno Camacho, LG: Andrew Garcia, C: Gabriel Estrada, RG: Eric Martinez, RT: Eugene Vega.<\/p>\n<p>Tartans leading receiver Michael Lowe Jr. caught nine passes for 139 yards. Corey Taylor caught four for 60 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>Conquerors leading receiver Arturo Vargas caught nine passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>Glendora, now 3-0, goes to Charter Oak next week. The Chargers improved to 3-1 after defeating Bell Gardens on Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>Los Altos, now 3-1, goes home to host Monrovia next Friday.
