7. NBA official Bill Kennedy comes out as gay\u00a0after Sacramento Kings guard Rajon Rondo used a gay slur at Kennedy\u00a0during a game against the Boston Celtics in Mexico City on December 3.\u00a0Rondo, who has since issued an apology,\u00a0was given a one-game suspension by the league.<\/p>\n

8. San Marino receiver J.P. Shohfi\u00a0has had\u00a0preliminary offers from Yale and\u00a0the University of San Diego according to\u00a0247sports.com.<\/p>\n
