2.) Los Angeles Dodgers defeat the New York Mets, 5-0, on Clayton Kershaw\u2019s 3-hit, 13-k, complete game shutout. He\u2019s now 5-1 with a 1.74 ERA.<\/p>\n

3.) Former Dodger reliever Joe Beimel signs minor league contract with Miami Marlins.<\/p>\n

4.) North-South All Star game at Citrus College, tonight (7:PM)\u2026Mark Holman (San Dimas) coaches the North & Pete Gonzalez (Montebello) coaches the South.

5.) Former Rosemead Panthers quarterback Sergio Romo turns 33. Romo started for Matt Koffler\u2019s 2000 team.<\/p>\n
