1. Former TC National Little League Dodger\u00a0Brian Serven was named first team all PAC 12\u00a0at Arizona State\u00a0as a catcher and was drafted\u00a0in June in the 5th round (pick #140)\u00a0by the Colorado Rockies. He is now playing for the Grand Junction Rockies.<\/p>\n

2. Former El Monte Eastern Little League\u00a0Giant Alyssa Villalpando is now playing for the Mexico National Team.<\/p>\n

3. Melvin Durslag, a former sports columnist for the Herald Examiner who\u00a0covered sports in Los Angeles since 1939, passed away last\u00a0Sunday at the age of 95.<\/p>\n

4. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor\u00a0will not be charged with a crime following accusations\u00a0that the former USC receiver sexually assaulted a dancer at a Philadelphia club in June.<\/p>\n
