Right off the Top:<\/strong> It looked like the Los Angeles Rams were suffering from pneumonia Monday night in San Francisco\u2026Except they didn\u2019t come out and give us all smiles and hugs when it was over.<\/p>\n

But\u2026Oh, I\u2019ve always been a fantasy football fan.<\/p>\n

Antonio Brown? That\u2019s my man! That\u2019s my main man! We are tight!<\/p>\n

Fantasy Bonus: Not only did I win, but I beat the snot out of the \u201cgenius\u201d Andy VillaTheDevil.<\/p>\n

Just when I\u2019m really getting back into sports\u2026Just when I\u2019m starting to get my mind back into athletic competition (election season always inspires me to dive deeper into sports)\u2026I put the TV on in my hotel room and I watch ten minutes of ESPN\u2026<\/p>\n

I was forced to put political news back on\u2026hypocrisy is easier to take without sanctimony\u2026ESPN is incapable of telling us the outcome of a game and why, without linking its own concern to every social cause coming down the line.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m in Pismo Beach for meetings–definitely worse places to be, but I won\u2019t get into a conversation about Bakersfield here\u2026I\u2019m away from the RamCave, away from the Sanctum Sanctorum, and I was scrambling to find a place to watch the Rams-Niners.<\/p>\n

My session ends at 9:15 P.M., I race ten minutes down the 101 to a friend\u2019s house in Nipomo and watch it on DVR. It\u2019s been a long day. Good, but long sessions. The night before had been long, I\u2019m tired but, hey, the Rams are playing.<\/p>\n

Yada, yada, yada\u2026Colin Kaepernick is kneeling during the national anthem and others join him in various protest\u2026yada, yada, yada\u2026<\/p>\n

And then I hear two voices I was unfamiliar with\u2026I tell myself, \u201cWait a second\u2026that\u2019s Steve Young calling the game\u2026\u201d Okay…a moment passes and I began to distinguish the slobbering cliched voice of my beer swilling uncle\u2026but it\u2019s not my uncle\u2026Madre Dios! It\u2019s Chris Berman\u2026<\/p>\n

I can handle things\u2026I can handle the NCAA and NBA being self-righteous when it comes to North Carolina and its bathroom law\u2026I can handle Kaepernick talking about oppression while wearing a Fidel Castro t-shirt. I can handle Robert Quinn and Kenny Britt and their homage to John Carlos and Tommie Smith\u2026I can handle comments about the deplorables…<\/p>\n

But four quarters of Chris Berman? Forget Metallica, play Berman\u2019s voice for the detainees in Guantanamo.<\/p>\n

The Rams gave up six draft picks for a quarterback they didn\u2019t even dress out for Week One, they were shutout in the season opener by a division opponent, their best defensive player was thrown out of the game for making contact with an official (I didn’t see that on video)\u2026When somebody tells you Hillary Clinton had a bad week tell them to take a better look at Jeff Fisher…or Les Snead…or Stan Kroenke.<\/p>\n

That was some 7-9 Bolshoi\u2026<\/p>\n

Time for RGIII to look for a new line of work.<\/p>\n

With his new-found crusader status, perhaps the 49ers can deal Colin Kaepernick to the Cleveland Browns.<\/p>\n

Case Keenum should be declared NC-17…. No child under 17 should be allowed to see him play quarterback… Ever\u2026Play a recording of his performance for those at GitMo<\/p>\n

How bad was Keenum\u2019s performance?<\/p>\n

It was so bad that when they do the remake of a Clockwork Orange they’ll use clips of Keenum to help with the conditioning segment.<\/p>\n

Four quarters with an Amway salesman are less offensive than Keenum and the Rams offense was on Monday night…And there’s no room for Tim Tebow in this league?<\/p>\n
