That\u2019s my man! That\u2019s my main man! It\u2019s been a long day. Good, but long sessions. The night before had been long, I\u2019m tired but, hey, the Rams are playing.<\/p>\n<p>Yada, yada, yada\u2026Colin Kaepernick is kneeling during the national anthem and others join him in various protest\u2026yada, yada, yada\u2026<\/p>\n<p>And then I hear two voices I was unfamiliar with\u2026I tell myself, \u201cWait a second\u2026that\u2019s Steve Young calling the game\u2026\u201d Okay&#8230;a moment passes and I began to distinguish the slobbering cliched voice of my beer swilling uncle\u2026but it\u2019s not my uncle\u2026Madre Dios! It\u2019s Chris Berman\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Serenity now!<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>I can handle things\u2026I can handle the NCAA and NBA being self-righteous when it comes to North Carolina and its bathroom law\u2026I can handle Kaepernick talking about oppression while wearing a Fidel Castro t-shirt. I can handle Robert Quinn and Kenny Britt and their homage to John Carlos and Tommie Smith\u2026I can handle comments about the deplorables&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>But four quarters of Chris Berman? Forget Metallica, play Berman\u2019s voice for the detainees in Guantanamo.<\/p>\n<p>Serenity now!<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>The Rams gave up six draft picks for a quarterback they didn\u2019t even dress out for Week One, they were shutout in the season opener by a division opponent, their best defensive player was thrown out of the game for making contact with an official (I didn&#8217;t see that on video)\u2026When somebody tells you Hillary Clinton had a bad week tell them to take a better look at Jeff Fisher&#8230;or Les Snead&#8230;or Stan Kroenke.<\/p>\n<p>That was some 7-9 Bolshoi\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Serenity now!<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>Time for RGIII to look for a new line of work.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>With his new-found crusader status, perhaps the 49ers can deal Colin Kaepernick to the Cleveland Browns.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>Case Keenum should be declared NC-17&#8230;.
