They had a death march\u00a0at the beginning of the season. They&#8217;ll be ready for whatever Paso Robles brings.\u00a0Mats win.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La Mirada 31 Paso Robles 24\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Division 4 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Glendora (5-5) at Charter Oak (9-1) <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These two teams have played before. The Chargers belted the\u00a0Tartans 43-0 back on September 9 and there&#8217;s nothing that has\u00a0changed now.\u00a0Well, there is one thing. The Chargers have a new quarterback now.\u00a0Matthew Takata\u00a0replaced Zack\u00a0Niccoli who replaced Brett Clemetson. But regardless of who is behind center\u00a0Charter Oak\u00a0is simply bigger, stronger and faster.\u00a0Glendora finished at 5-5.\u00a0Make that 5-6.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charter Oak 34 Glendora 10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Division 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>San Marino (4-5) at Los Altos (10-0)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These two\u00a0teams went it as well\u00a0early in the year. Back on Zero Week Los Altos\u00a0blasted\u00a0San Marino 38-6 on the Titans home field. San Marino has shown some signs of improvement. The Titans fell by only a touchdown to Monrovia and\u00a0pounded South Pasadena.\u00a0However their loss last week at La Canada was disappointing.\u00a0The Conquerors on the other hand have rolled over everything in their path. Their win over Charter oak was epic and they\u00a0followed that up with a shut out of West Covina. This one won&#8217;t be close. They\u2019ve beaten up on who they\u2019re supposed to beat up on but have been hammered by the teams they needed to play better against. Traffic sucks, so we\u2019re going with the Monsoons at home.<br \/>\n<strong>Mayfair 21 La Salle 20<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Division 12<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Verbum Dei (5-5) at Arroyo (9-1)<\/strong><br \/>\nThe biggest problem for the Knights HC, Jim Singiser is if his team looks past VD to a possible match-up with Schurr next week. Some might look at this and laugh at the idea of Arroyo looking past the Eagles. CalPreps as the Knights winning 40-6 and this isn\u2019t the same VD program that knocked off Temple City ten years ago with Akeem Ayers. Knights quarterback Ernesto Camacho can sling it and should have success but look for Arroyo to establish the run early and build from there.<br \/>\n<strong>Arroyo 37 Verbum Dei 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p><strong>Division 13<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Rio Hondo Prep (6-3) at South El Monte (9-1)<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Kares have all the history and a shelf full of CIF titles, but the Southmen have the bad dudes on the offensive line and a guy named Sal Tovar. It\u2019s important for SEM to keep things tight and not give up any touchdowns via special teams or on turnovers because they are not built to come back\u2026In the end its about Tovar &amp; The Devil\u2019s Herd.<br \/>\n<strong>South El Monte 30 Rio Hondo Prep 13<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Division 9 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>El Rancho (4-6) at Norwalk (7-3) Excelsior Adult School\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Norwalk beat El Rancho back in Zero Week. The Dons have gotten better and look primed for an upset.\u00a0Dons in a surprise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>El Rancho 20 Norwalk 17 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Division 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hart (8-2)\u00a0at Cathedral (10-0)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is the price the Phantoms pay for\u00a0playing in Division 3.\u00a0Hart hails from the Foothill League\u00a0where every game is a blood bath.\u00a0Did you know that Canyon, which finished\u00a00-5 in the Foothill, beat Burbank 34-27\u00a0back in September. Burbank\u00a0was\u00a07-3 overall and\u00a06-1 in the Pacific. Cathedral\u00a0hangs with Hart until the end\u00a0but the Phantoms perfect season comes to an end.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hart 31 Cathedral 27\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Division 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> West Covina (6-4) at Summit (9-1)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Bulldogs have their work cut out. They have to get on a bus and fight the traffic out to Fontana and then fight a team that went 9-1\u00a0overall and 5-1 in the Sunkist League. If West Covina can shut down\u00a0Summit&#8217;s run game,\u00a0it has a shot. But it&#8217;s a little too much to ask.\u00a0Summit\u00a0grounds and pounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summit 24 West Covina 14\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Division 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>St. Paul (4-6)\u00a0at Monrovia (6-4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Monrovia has the home field advantage.\u00a0Monrovia\u00a0has some momentum.\u00a0The Wildcats have more talent.\u00a0Bottom line is M-Town should win this game.\u00a0But something in the gut\u00a0says St. Paul pulls the upset.\u00a0That Angelus League is no joke.\u00a0The Swordsmen get out of town with the W.<\/p>\n<p><strong>St. Paul\u00a028 Monrovia 21 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>**<\/p>\n<p><strong>Division 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Chino (4-6) at Northview (9-1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chino has lost four straight.
