Establishing its ground game with a 6-minute opening drive, which resulted in a 38-yard field goal by senior kicker Isias Acosta.<\/p>\n<p>Quarterback Daniel Olmos added a pair of touchdowns. The first\u2014a 16-yard touchdown run\u2014came with 3:17 remaining in the first quarter. The second\u2014a 16-yard pass to wide receiver Richard Nava\u2014was added with 1:01 remaining in the game\u2019s first half.<\/p>\n<p>However, the Eagles top contributor of the evening was Sal Tovar, who ran for three touchdowns. Tovar finished the evening with 21 carries for 127 yards to go with the three scores.<\/p>\n<p>Rio Hondo Prep\u2019s scoring was provided by running back Stephen Santizo and wide receiver Martin Chang. Santizo, who rushed for 220 yards, posted a 50-yard scoring run, additionally caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Chang.<\/p>\n<p>Chang also scored on a 5-yard \u201cEnd- Around\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Next week, the Eagles will travel to Santa Clarita to meet Santa Clarita Christian, who was victorious over the Sierra Vista Dons. The location and Kick-off time will be announced at a later date.
