[El Monte] – Davon Booth and Abel Cueva had only eight touches combined but that\u2019s all El Monte needed in their 63-7 shellacking of Sotomayor at home.<\/p>\n
Booth opened up with scoring with a 23-yard touchdown run on the third play of the game and he added another one from 29-yards out later in the first.<\/p>\n
Cueva got three carries for 102-yards one being a 81-yard dash to paydirt. He also had a 76-yard reception for a score.<\/p>\n
Jesus \u201cOso\u201d Garcia pounded it in from 7-yards out and senior JJ Reyes got in on the fun when he broke a 32-yard touchdown run, making it 43-0 in the first.<\/p>\n
Sotomayor\u2019s Logan Avery scored from the two yard line making it 43-7 at the end of the first quarter.<\/p>\n
Lions freshmen standout Juaquin Andrade got three carries for 98-yards and touchdown. Carlos Zuria and Andrew Duong each had a score for El Monte.<\/p>\n
Junior Martin Quintana picked off a Wolves pass in the fourth stopping a drive.<\/p>\n
Booth finished with four carries for 72-yards and two touchdowns to go along with a interception.<\/p>\n
