Number 8 Florida beat Miami 24-20 Saturday to kick off the college football season.<\/p>\n<p>6. California has outscored Schurr by the combined score of 98-35 in the last two years.<\/p>\n<p>7. Rory McIlroy won the FedEx Cup and the $15 million prize Sunday, the biggest payout in golf history.<\/p>\n<p>8. Overheard on the Covina sidelines Friday Night during a 49-6 loss to Los Altos. &#8220;We have a new defensive coordinator. We&#8217;re just waiting for him to start coordinating.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>9. The Lakers signed center Dwight Howard to a non-guaranteed contract to replace DeMarcus &#8220;Boogie&#8221; Cousins who is out for the year with an ACL injury.<\/p>\n<p>10. &#8220;It&#8217;s not an easy decision.
