(Hacienda Heights) – Diamond Ranch quarterback Mario Martinez Jr. hit six different receivers, threw three touchdowns and rushed for another in the Panthers 37-7 victory over the Conquerors Friday night at Los Altos.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

The Conquerors defense held Diamond Ranch to a 25-yard field goal from Cesar Velasquez on the first drive.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Los Altos went three and out for what seemed most of the night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Martinez led the Panthers down the field for a one-yard dive into the end zone on their second drive after a roughing the kicker kept it going, a missed extra point on a bad snap made it 9-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Conquerors got on the board when Andrew Aranda blocked a punt, scooped it up and took it 40-yards to paydirt making it 9-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Panthers scored just before the half when Martinez hit Erin Metcalf\u00a0for a 24-yard score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Metcalf found the end zone again on a Martinez’ pass midway through the third quarter putting Diamond Ranch up 23-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Martinez went to work again after a interception and hit Donovan Smith for a 40-yard touchdown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Panthers backup quarterback senior Sammy Montiel came in and joined in on the fun hitting DJ Shanks for a 39-yard score putting the game at 37-7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Martinez finished 20 of 27 for 203 yards and three touchdown passes and another rushing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Diamond Ranch receivers had fun, Smith had five catches for 63-yards, Metcalf had six receptions for 58-yards and two touchdowns and Shanks had three touches for 57 yards and a score. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Los Altos quarterback Justin Gaytan never got anything going as he went 8 of 22 for 85-yards and two interceptions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
