(Montebello) – Shawn D\u2019Amato had three touchdowns to lead the way for San Dimas\u2019 49-17 victory over Montebello at Heaman Field Friday night.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Saints pounded the ball down the field and their first drive but capped it off with a 14-yard touchdown pass from Tryondrew Coleman to D\u2019Amato. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
San Dimas would score for the second time just 14-seconds later when a Saints fumble recovery led to a Coleman touchdown strike to Brian Freeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Oilers got on the board midway through the first quarter with a 30-yard field goal by Sebastian Lozano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
D\u2019Amato found paydirt for the second time when he scooped up a Montebello fumble and took it 45-yards. On the Saints first possession of the second quarter D\u2019Amato would score for the third time when he sliced through the Oilers defense for a 14-yard rushing touchdown making it 28-3 San Dimas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After another Oilers turnover Coleman took it in himself for a one yard touchdown dive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Oilers got two scores in the second quarter when quarterback Michael Valdivia hit on touchdowns of 80-yards and 7-yards to make make it 35-17 at the half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both teams traded turnovers and penalties in the third quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Saints scored twice in the fourth quarter on a one yard run by Freeland and a 10-yard run by Raymond Oviedo to put the game out of reach at 49-17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
San Dimas tallied up over 150-yards of penalties with six false starts, four pass interference and two roughing the passer calls, just to name a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
D\u2019Amato finished with 160 yards rushing and three touchdowns and also had a interception on defense. Coleman had a rushing score and two passing touchdowns but did also throw two interceptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Valdivia finished 19 of 43 for 317 yards two touchdowns and two interceptions. He went just 7 of 22 in the second half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
San Dimas had a dozen sacks on the Oilers led by Coleman and Jesse Samec. Carlos Alvarez also picked off a pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mario Rojas had two interceptions for Montebello.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oilers will stay home and host South El Monte On Thursday while San Dimas will go home and face Santa Fe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
