The Matadors are unbeaten but naysayers say they haven’t beaten anybody. Montebello wants to show it’s still the team to beat in league despite a rough start. A loss puts you behind the eight ball while a win puts you in contention in a wide open Almont League. Bell Gardens may battle early but Schurr has the most talent. El Rancho has its detractors (they haven’t played anybody) and its supporters (Hey they’re undefeated!). If ER has been a surprise Cal has been a shock. The Condors are ready to make a move in the Del Rio. Until they prove it though their only third best. Remember La Serna is still out there.
