View went on a 16-0 run to start the third quarter to blow open a tie game and went on to beat Marshall 68-61 Friday night in Mission Valley League action. <\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p>Tied at 26 at the half Jeryck Chavoya buried three three pointers to spark the run and Derek Barocio hit a couple of baskets as well. By the time the dust had settled it was 42-26 Vikings. Mt. View got off to a slow start scoring just six points in the first quarter, all of them by Raymondo Garcia. The Eagles led 10-6 after one with Jackson Stadnicki and Alonzo Acosta each scoring four points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vikings got untracked in the second quarter outscoring the Eagles 20-16 in the quarter. Garcia had six and Chavoya five as the teams went into the half tied at 26. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vikes then came out in the third quarter and blitzed the Eagles. Marshall outscored View 22-18 in the fourth quarter but it wasn&#8217;t enough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Mt. View Chavoya led all scorers with 28 including six bombs from beyond the arc. Garcia had a big night as well with 21 and Barocio chipped in 9. For Marshall Stadnicki led the way with 15, Bagdo Yetenekyan, Vazion Boone and Alonzo Acosta all had 12 apiece. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mt. View finished the regular season 11-14 overall and 7-5 in the Mission Valley League which is good for third place.
