  2. Kansas beat Villanova 81-65 to advance to the NCAA Championship game. <\/li>\n

  4. The Dodgers traded AJ Pollack to the Chicago White Sox for reliever Craig Kimbrel Friday. <\/li>\n

  8. Former Ohio State head coach Thad Matta has been hired as the new head basketball coach at Butler.  <\/li>\n
  9. Running back Frank Gore will sign a one-day contract with the San Francisco 49ers and retire with the team that drafted him. Gore played 16 seasons in the NFL, the first 10 with the 49ers. <\/li>\n
