Angel Barraza rushed for 99 yards and two scores as the Vikings dominated the line of scrimmage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Northview&#8217;s defense shut out San Dimas until late in the fourth quarter. Saints quarterback Jacob Gonzalez threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Carlos Alvarez to get San Dimas in the scoring column with 3:05 left in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Northview jumped on San Dimas right away and never looked back. The Vikings scored on their first three possessions. Barraza scored on a four-yard touchdown run on the first possession to cap a 65-yard drive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Vikes next series James Arellanes hit Donavan Perez on a 69-yard catch and run down to the San Dimas eight-yard line. Three plays later Arellanes kept it himself for one-yard score. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perez picked off Gonzalez on the Saints next possession and Northview was in business again. Tavao hit the end zone from two yards out to finish a 77-yard drive and the Vikes were up 21-0 as the clock hit zeroes on the first quarter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Northview added one more in the second quarter when Barraza crossed the goal line on a 17-yard touchdown jaunt. The Vikings took a 28-0 lead into the break. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the third quarter Arellanes and Nathan Tome connected for a big play. Tome took a pass and rumbled 45 yards for a touchdown. Northview needed only two plays to go 80 yards as Tauvao broke off a 35-yard run on the first play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>San Dimas finally broke up the shut out late in the fourth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arellanes balanced out the Northview offense with 183 yards passing completing 8 of 14 with a touchdown and an interception. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>San Dimas never found a groove offensively and turned the ball over twice. Brian Freeland rushed for 134 yards on 20 carries and Gonzalez threw for just 34 yards &#8211; 22 of those coming on the touchdown pass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Northview finished the season 8-2 overall and a perfect 3-0 in the Valle Vista.
