(Photo courtesy of La Salle Athletics)   <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>By Tim Peterson <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Sierra Madre) &#8211; Mark Serve&#8217;, who was most recently the head coach at Westlake, has been named the new head football coach at La Salle the school confirmed Wednesday. <\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p>Serve&#8217; spent the last three seasons at Westlake and had an overall record of 9-21. Prior to that he was at Sierra Canyon for 12 years and was the offensive coordinator on Jon Ellinghouse&#8217;s staff before departing for Westlake. Serve&#8217; was named Mid Valley Sports Offensive Coordinator of the Year for the 2016 season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m fired up and can&#8217;t wait to get started. I&#8217;m looking forward to the opportunity,&#8221; Serve&#8217; said. &#8220;The Administration at La Salle is awesome. They are willing to work their butts off and that&#8217;s how I am too. I&#8217;m willing to work my tail off.&#8221;    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serve&#8217; takes over for Ben Buys, who stepped down last month after five seasons at the helm to take the head coaching job at Chaffey College.
