It’s too early for a High School Football Top 10 so let’s go 12. The “Dirty Dozen” if you will. It’s challenging piecing together a Top 10 or even a Top 12 in our coverage area when you have teams that range from Division 2 all the way to Division 14. There should probably be five different lists of the top teams. But we settled on one. Almost all of the 7 on 7 passing tournaments have been played and we’re just a few weeks away from kicking off the 2024 campaign. Here we go. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Warren -Quarterback Madden Iamaleava, follows in brother Nico’s footsteps as the next great Warren QB. <\/li>
  2. Damien – Linebacker Caden Arellano anchors a solid defense. <\/li>
  3. La Serna – Kaimana Tufaga ready to bust out. <\/li>
  4. Bishop Amat – Viva Villalbazo! <\/li>
  5. Downey – Quarterback Oscar Rios, class of ’26, getting offers already. <\/li>
  6. St. Francis – Dual threat John Sanders threw for over 2,000 yards last year and ran for 778. <\/li>
  7. Charter Oak – Four Division 1 commitments heading into the season. <\/li>
  8. Mayfair – Quarterback Jeremiah Calvin is gearing up for a big year. <\/li>
  9. St. Paul – The Swordsmen will be tested right out of the gate with Newport Harbor, Bishop Amat and Damien. <\/li>
  10. Bonita – Noah Mikhail is one of the best players in the area. <\/li>
  11. Colony – Returning running back Elijah Ybanez rushed for 1,050 yards last year. Titans have a solid offensive line. <\/li>
  12. Northview – Keanu Tauvao leads a solid running attack. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
