They only managed a 58-yard field goal by Cameron Dicker &#8220;The Kicker&#8221; late in the first half. Justin Herbert is out with a plantar fascia injury but is expected to be back by opening day. Easton Stick was at quarterback followed by Max Duggan and Luis Perez.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a scoreless first quarter Seattle broke through early in the second quarter. They drove 59 yards on 12 plays. Sam Howell capped it with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Brady Russell for a 7-0 lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the next possession Coby Bryant (cool name) picked off Stick and returned it to the Chargers 21-yard line. (Photo by Duane Barker).   <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>Dicker booted a 58-yard field goal later in the second quarter to get the Chargers on the board.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Seahawks took a 13-3 lead into the halftime break.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Chargers defense came up big stopping the Seahawks on the one-yard line on fourth and goal with 6:45 left in the third quarter. Holani was stuffed and pushed back a yard to keep the score at 13-3.<\/p>\n<p>Max Duggan replaced Stick for the Chargers in the third quarter but the offense still had trouble getting on track.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Seahawks maintained the 10-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jason Meyers split the uprights from 48 yards out with 4:41 left in the fourth quarter to extend Seattle&#8217;s lead to 16-3.<\/p>\n<p>Perez took over for Duggan in the fourth quarter.&nbsp;The Seahawks held off the Chargers the rest of the way to secure the victory.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Chargers had just 198 total tards on offense including only 77 rushing. Stick completed 5 of 13 for 31 yards and an interception. Jaret Patterson had 7 carries for 38 yards.
