Reporting from my couch \u2013 Figuring my love for watching sixteen different sporting events on any given day, it would be beneficial to give my thought and insight to sports watched from your four major sports and anything minor to big events.<\/p>\n
Its the first Saturday in May, which means its Derby Day! If your looking for programming for anything on ESPN, forget it. Its all about the\u00a0Kentucky Derby<\/span>.<\/p>\n With that said enjoy watching nine full races between ESPN and\u00a0NBC<\/span>. The Derby begins at 3pm.<\/p>\n Look for a\u00a0great race<\/span>, with Friesan Fire winning from the front end as the track came up muddy and will have a hard time getting dry by post time.<\/p>\n Earlier on NBC at 11am you can treat yourself to some\u00a0Stanley Cup action<\/span>\u00a0as the\u00a0Pittsburgh Penguins<\/span>\u00a0invade the\u00a0Washington Capitals<\/span>. NBC is beside itself to have this game today as it pits\u00a0Sidney Crosby<\/span>\u00a0and Alex Ovechkin. Sit and watch just 10 minutes of this game and you may change your mind about the sport.<\/p>\n Tonight its the exciting conclusion to the Chicago-Boston\u00a0NBA playoffs<\/span>\u00a0series. I will take Chicago to knock off the champs. The Celtics were lucky to get out of Boston with a Game 5 victory. Unlike others who think\u00a0Rajon Rondo<\/span>\u00a0should have been suspended, I believe it wasn’t as flagrant as the\u00a0Dwight Howard elbow<\/span>.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Los Angeles Angels<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Los Angeles Dodgers<\/span>\u00a0both play today.
