<\/span>It’s the best part of the day.”\u2014George Allen<\/b><\/p>\n Kick it!<\/p>\n Okay, I’ll take the slings and arrows for this\u2026.On Saturday, I didn’t see Chuck Hughes or Damar Hamlin die on the field, but by the reaction of C.J. Stroud and his teammates to Tank Dell’s injury, it was as if we had.<\/p>\n I know this will get twisted into me being callous, cynical, and a get-off-my-lawn type\u2026but the reaction to Dell’s injury reminded me that there’s a chip missing in this generation.<\/p>\n Ultimately, it doesn’t translate well into football.<\/p>\n *** <\/p>\n I had two issues with the Rams’ win in New York yesterday. You got to get to the quarterback, and they only got to Aaron Rodgers once.<\/p>\n Also, if I know from my seat in The RamCave when they’ll run an inside\/slip screen to Puka Nacua\u2026I can guarantee you the defenses in the NFL know it.<\/p>\n It’s more played than a Skip Bayless take.<\/p>\n ***<\/p>\n Honestly, after the way he pitched in the post-season, I thought the Dodgers would have kept Walker Buehler.<\/p>\n I say this as a Mets fan\u2026this is what makes the Dodgers front office great. You see the same thing with the Rams, the ability to move beyond emotion when building a team.<\/p>\n Keep an eye on Teoscar Hernandez\u2026 <\/p>\n ***<\/p>\n The bashing of Indiana and SMU by the KBM (Kiss Butt Media) is such low-hanging fruit.<\/p>\n Those two games boiled down to a pair of quarterbacks who were not ready to play in South Bend and Happy Valley. Were the Irish and Nittany Lions better teams? Of course.<\/p>\n The quarterback play by the Hoosiers and Mustangs put too much pressure on their defenses, and eventually, they broke down. If those quarterbacks had been half of what they were during the regular season, the games would have been more competitive.<\/p>\n The whining on social media about these teams being in and Alabama being left out is more proof of the KBM being on the emotional payroll of the SEC.<\/p>\n Last Note to Crimson Tide Fans:<\/b> Don’t get your butt kicked by a lousy Oklahoma team.<\/p>\n
