Byrnes

Week 3 began Thursday Night in Buffalo:
Buffalo (3-0) 31 Miami (0-3) 21
Bills quarterback Josh Allen shredded the Dolphins defense (22/28-203 yards-3 td’s), and ran for 25 more yards as Miami had no answer for the short passing game.

Teammate James Cook, the NFL’s 2nd-leading rusher, ran for 108 yards and a score and looks quicker than in the past.
RamView’s Joe Torosian was quoted over the summer, saying Mike McDaniels tenure may be brief with a poor start.
POOR START!

Sunday kicked off with the undefeated Rams and Eagles, in
Philly:

Philadelphia (3-0) 33 Rams (2-1) 26
The Rams are still wondering what happened this week, as they came from ahead, with a 26-7 lead, and managed to lose on a blocked field goal with time expiring.

After the Rams scored six times in a row, the Eagles responded with three unanswered touchdowns before scoring on the blocked kick for the win.

While undefeated the defending champions look fragile, and many pundits are comparing this to week 18 of the 2021 season for Los Angeles.

The Rams took a 17-0 lead over the 49ers in that game and lost 27-24.

Rams faithful hope history repeats itself as they went on to beat San Francisco in the playoffs and later won the Super Bowl.

Indianapolis (3-0) 41 Tennessee (0-3) 20
Broadcasters and writers everywhere pointed out that the Titans looked disinterested, and the surprising, undefeated Colts noticed and took advantage.

Indy took a two touchdown lead in the first quarter, including a pick-6, and never looked back.

Indy’s NFL-leading RB Jonathan Taylor had 102 yards on the ground, with three touchdowns while DE Tyquan Lewis had 2 sacks/ 3 tackles-for-loss on defense.

The Colts are balanced so far this season and leads the NFL in point differential with a (+47).

Additional Sunday Games:
-Pit 21-NE 14
-Min 48-Cin 10
-Jax 17-Hou absolutely leveled New Orleans punter Kai Kroeger and rookie Tory Horton broke a Seahawks record with a 95-yard punt return for a td as the Seahawks had a 35-point lead by halftime.

Horton added a receiving score to show he may be the new #2 WR in Seattle.

Monday Night Football:
Detroit (2-1) 38 Baltimore (1-2) 30
The rushing duo of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs completely dominated a porous Ravens defense, combining for 218 yards and four touchdowns on the ground, and six catches for another 45 receiving yards.

Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown had seven catches for 77 yards and a score from the NFL’s most efficient arm in Jared Goff.

The Lions quarterback leads the league with an outstanding 78% completion rate.

Linebacker Al-Quadin Muhammed ran down Ravens QB Lamar Jackson all night, getting 2.5 sacks.

While Jackson had a solid night, throwing for 288 and three scores, the usually overpowering running game was stagnant.
After a massive 169 yards in the opening day game, Baltimore RB Derrick Henry has yet to exceed 50 yards rushing in a game.

Key Injuries:
-Ari, James Conner (Ankle)
-Dal, CeeDee Lamb (Ankle)
-LAC, Najee Harris (Achilles)
-SF, Nick Bosa (ACL)
-TB, Mike
