But Charter Oak fumbled Claremont&#8217;s punt and the Wolfpack recovered at the Chargers 45-yard line. Claremont again failed to move the ball and punted it away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This time the Chargers went to work. They drove 80 yards on nine plays. JD Sanchez culminated the drive with 7-yard run with 2:04 left in the first quarter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chargers broke it open in the second quarter. After taking over on a short field Sanchez again finished a 38-yard drive with a 5-yard touchdown run. Corin Berry hit Antonio Reasby with a 17-yard pass to set up the score.      <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later in the quarter Berry connected with Christian Alarcon over the middle for 20-yard touchdown strike to make it 21-0 with just over four minutes left in the second quarter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charter Oak got the ball back when a short punt left the Chargers at the 50-yard line. They quickly moved the ball down to the two-yard line where guess who? Sanchez scored on a short blast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claremont had a 54-yard field goal attempt blocked as the clock ran out in the first half leaving the Chargers up 28-0. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claremont agreed to a running clock the entire second half. Charter Oak opened the quarter with a 66-yard, 10-play drive. Huff did the honors of capping it with a 3-yard TD jaunt. With a running clock there was only 4:03 left in the third when the Chargers scored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the fourth quarter Charter Oak added one more after a failed Claremont fourth down left the Chargers on the Wolfpack 16. On the first play Brian Aceves, in relief of Berry, fired a 16-yard touchdown pass to Zion Key to round out the scoring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Berry completed 10 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown to balance out the offensive attack with Huff&#8217;s ground game. Reasby caught six passes for 73 yards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Claremont tight end Max Leeper caught three passes for 38 yards from quarterback Carter Montgomery but the Wolfpack were never able to get anything going offensively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claremont fell from the ranks of the unbeaten with the loss and is now 6-1.
