(Photo by Katlyn Moreno)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By Nyla Martinez <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Norwalk) &#8211; Norwalk put its double wing offense on display with a 70-0 victory over Compton Early College Friday night at Norwalk.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p>Norwalk kicked off first to CEC but the Rising Phoenix didn\u2019t pick up the ball and Onosai Faamatau fell on top of it and gave the Lancers a short field.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Da\u2019Ron Walker scored from 10-yards out. It was just the beginning.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CEC got a first down on fourth and long but three plays later Andres Escobar picked off a Daniel Riley pass. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diego Cerritos got his first carry of the game and broke off a 55-yard touchdown run.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rising Phoenix again didn\u2019t get the kickoff and Norwalk picked it up. Cerritos scored again &#8211; this one from 21-yards out making it 21-0 midway through the first.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cerritos scored again in the first quarter after a turnover on downs by CEC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the second quarter Walker hit paydirt twice on scores of seven and 42. Cerritos caped off the first half scoring with a 27-yard touchdown on a reverse making it 49-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walker found the end zone for the fourth time with a five-yard dive and Cerritos added his fifth touchdown putting the score 63-0 late in the third.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a CEC fumble Keshawn Williams finished the scoring for the Lancers when he got in from five yards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cerritos ended up with 213-yards on nine carries and five touchdowns. Walker had nine touches for 148-yards and four scores.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The defense was lead by Faamatau and David Ibarra, Aiden Alcala also had an interception and Adrian Napier had a fumble recovery.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Riley was all the offense for CEC as he had 87-yards on the ground.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Norwalk (7-0) will be on the road next week and face Gahr (4-3).
