{"id":93024,"date":"2025-11-04T23:16:12","date_gmt":"2025-11-05T06:16:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/midvalleysports.com\/?p=93024"},"modified":"2025-11-04T23:20:04","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T06:20:04","slug":"herrington-out-at-st-francis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/midvalleysports.com\/?p=93024","title":{"rendered":"Herrington Out at St. Francis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Tim Peterson <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(La Canada) &#8211; Dean Herrington was let go as the head football coach at St. Francis after five seasons Fred Robledo at SGVN Sports and Eric Sondheimer of the LA Times reported Tuesday. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p>St. Francis finished 2-8 overall (2-3 in the Angelus League) in 2025 and missed the playoffs. The Golden Knights beat Cathedral 28-21 last Friday night in their last regular season game.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In five years at St. Francis Herrington had an overall record of 35-26 and won three Angelus League titles.
