(Photo by Duane Barker)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p> By Tim Peterson<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Inglewood) &#8211; Cameron Dicker &#8220;The Kicker&#8221; booted a 54-yard field goal with 6:24 left in overtime and Tony Jefferson picked off a Jalen Hurts pass at the one-yard line on the next possession to lift the Chargers to a 22-19 overtime win over Philadelphia before 71, 241 Monday Night Football fans at SoFi Stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p>The Chargers got the ball first in overtime and were able to move the ball down to the Eagles 37-yard line before Dicker&#8217;s kick &#8211; his fifth field goal of the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Eagles then drove down the field into scoring possession. Hurts&#8217; pass was tipped by Cam Hart into the arms of Jefferson who snagged it at the one to end it. The interception was the fourth one of the night thrown by Hurts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chargers scored first on the opening possession. A 60-yard pass play from Justin Herbert to Kimani Vidal set up a four-yard touchdown pass from Herbert to Omarion Hampton to put the Chargers up 7-0. The drive consisted of 80 yards on six plays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Eagles responded with a 42-yard field goal by Jake Elliot to cut the lead to 7-3 later in the first quarter.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a wild sequence in the second quarter the Chargers&#8217; Da&#8217;Shawn Hand intercepted Hurts. Hand was then hit and fumbled and Hurts recovered it and began moving up field. He was then hit and coughed up the ball and Troy Dye recovered at the Chargers 43. (Photo by Duane Barker)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the next possession Donte Jackson stepped in front of a Hurts pass for another interception. But the Chargers gave it right back when Herbert was sacked, lost the ball and Byron Young fell on it for the Eagles at the Philadelphia 44 yard-line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Eagles drove down the field but were stopped at the Chargers 12-yard line. Elliot booted a 30-yard field with 48 seconds left in the second quarter to make it 10-6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Herbert was then picked off by Adoree Jackson with 10 seconds left at the LA 30-yard line. But Elliot missed a 48-yard field goal as the first half clock expired. The Chargers took the 10-6 lead into halftime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chargers opened the second half with a 16-play drive that was halted at the Philadelphia 16-yard line where Dicker kicked a 34-yard field goal to make it 13-6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Eagles answered with a 54-yard field goal by Elliot with 3:22 left in the third quarter. Brown. Hart returned it to the Eagles 35-yard line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chargers were unable to cash in with a touchdown but Dicker booted a 31-yard field goal to tie it at 16 with 7:26 remaining in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elliot split the uprights from 44 yards out to give the Eagles a 19-16 lead with 2:16 left in the fourth.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chargers promptly drove 48 yards on 11 plays. Dicker kicked a 46-yard field goal with eight seconds left to tie it at 19 and they headed to overtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dicker with the kick and Jefferson&#8217;s pick then propelled the Chargers to victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the Chargers Herbert completed 12 of 26 for 139 yards and a touchdown with the interception. He also rushed for 66 yards on 10 carries. Hampton, in his first game back from an injury, rushed for 56 yards on 13 carries and Vidal had 14 carries for 44 yards to go along with his 60-yard reception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the Eagles it was a tough night for Hurts as he threw four interceptions and lost a fumble. He was 21-40 for 240 yards and no touchdowns to go along with the four picks. Barkley ran for 122 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.
