Encinas takes over for Matt Villasenor who stepped down to become the head coach at Muir. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p>Encinas spent four seasons as San Gabriel\u2019s head coach going 24-14 and\u00a0leading them to a CIF title and a 6A Regional Championship in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last two seasons Encinas has been the offensive coordinator at Nogales and now steps right in as the head coach.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Encinas knew Nogales was the right choice.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI grew up here. My siblings are proud alumni. Losing my oldest brother in 2020 changed my life.
