Lopez, as a freshman, has lettered in football, basketball and baseball. He got injured in week three against Bolsa Grande and had thrown for a touchdown and an interception before the injury.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p>Lopez came off the bench for the basketball team helping them win a Mission Valley league title averaging seven points and 10 rebounds. This season in baseball, in which he helped the team win a league title, he\u2019s leading the team in batting at .390 with a homerun and 21 RBIs. On the mound he\u2019s gone 4-2 with a 1.30 earned run average. Arroyo travels to AB Miller in the first round of the playoffs this week. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: What\u2019s up kid, how\u2019s it going?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: Going great. I&#8217;m focusing on my craft and getting better every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: How does it feel to be a varsity athlete in all three major sports as a freshman?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: Feels great. I would like to thank my coaches and family for all the support. This is what I\u2019m made to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: You have to pick one. Which sport do you keep playing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: It would be football because it was my first sport and I always had a strong love for the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Who do you model your game after?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: I model my game after Tom Brady &#8211; to play smart and to not play with fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: How would your teammates and coaches describe you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: They would describe me as hard working and clutch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: What is your goal for the team and you personally this upcoming football season?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: Goal for this upcoming season is to win league and go on a playoff run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q:&nbsp;What is the biggest lesson you have learned from sports so far?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: Biggest lesson I&#8217;ve learned is to always stay humble and be hungry for your goals<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q:&nbsp;How do you handle the pressure of playing in high-stakes games?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: By staying calm and keeping my composure. I&#8217;ve been dealing with pressure all my life. It&#8217;s nothing new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: You\u2019re still a freshman but what are your plans after high school when it comes to sports?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: Plans after high school is to get a scholarship\u00a0and play ball at a good college, either for football or\u00a0baseball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q:&nbsp;Anything else you would like to say or want us to know?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: Only 14, remember that.
