I love the flexing Seattle Seahawks media, fans, and players are doing about Aaron Donald’s return. Essentially saying the Rams needed to bring Donald back to stop the Seahawks.<\/p>\n
Having Donald back is an advantage \u2014 no doubt \u2014but as long as Terry McAulay is in the Prime booth with the NFL office on speed dial, the Seahawks remain a leg up on everybody…and, possibly, so do bookies across America.<\/p>\n
Next Add Donald’s Return:<\/strong> Everyone is speculating the Rams will run the table and go undefeated.<\/p>\n No, the Rams will not go undefeated\u2026I think they could lose to Fog City next week in Australia.<\/p>\n That’s not a hot take, that’s just what I think is possible.<\/p>\n The game in Melbourne will be the Super Bowl for the San Francisco 49ers. I think they’re going to throw everything, including the kitchen sink, into Week One.<\/p>\n They’ll have to do it Week One, because by Week Ten, the IR will be full, and we don’t know who in the front office or on the coaching staff will be arrested, in a car accident, or both.<\/p>\n Next Add Rams Perfect Season:<\/strong> McVay’s Rams tend to start sluggish because the first three weeks of a season are generally their preseason.<\/p>\n The Rams are 11-7 since 2020 after three weeks. <\/p>\n Last season they didn’t look great against Houston and Tennessee, and then looked great against Philadelphia before collapsing in the second half.<\/p>\n Last Add Rams Perfection:<\/strong> In 2021 the Rams started 3-0\u2026and then everyone went Harry Hysterical when they went 0-3 that same November.<\/p>\n Honestly, who’s the jackwagon that allowed that San Jose State-USC game on Saturday to be played at high noon?<\/p>\n (Player safety, yeah, sure\u2026whatever.)<\/p>\n Are the Chargers really going to play the 2026 season\u2014perhaps their most important season since immigrating to Los Angeles\u2014with Trey Lance and DJ Uiagalelei as their backup quarterbacks?<\/p>\n (I know Uiagalelei was cut, but may end up on the Practice Squad.)<\/p>\n The Tennessee Titans put Will Levis in the street. Shouldn’t they take a flyer on him? Heck, even Easton Stick\u2014also available\u2014would be an improvement on what the Bolts have now.<\/p>\n Double-Heck…why wouldn’t the Atlanta Falcons spin the wheel on Levis?<\/p>\n Speaking of local…<\/p>\n The Cleveland Browns waived local El Monte product Davon Booth\u2026somebody locally should give the kid a look-see.<\/p>\n Between college football kicking off and NFL roster cuts, I forgot the MLB season was still going on. Did you?<\/p>\n Yes, of course,\u2026#101\u2014May the San Francisco Giants rot and lie stinking in the earth\u2026<\/p>\n But the struggle to the bottom of the MLB is heating up. The Los Angeles Angels and Colorado Rockies are currently tied with 52-85 records.
